I was new to Sydney in 2012. I had never been to Annandale, never even heard of it, when a friend told me about the exhibition.
On a whim, I submitted a book of artworks which aimed to mock the theme. It was called ‘Say It’s So’ with the front page reading “This is a portrait of Annandale, if I say so.”
